AB0609 RADIOFREQUENCY ECHOGRAPHIC MULTI-SPECTROMETRY FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF BOTH FEMORA IN PREGNANT WOMEN

نویسندگان

چکیده

Background: Radiofrequency Echographic Multi-Spectrometry (REMS) is a non-ionizing innovative approach for the assessment of REMS- based bone mineral density (BMD) axial skeleton. The principle REMS technology on analysis native raw unfiltered ultrasound signals during an echographic scan lumbar spine or femoral neck [1]. Several studies demonstrated high concordance with dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) in terms measured BMD this novel [2,3]. In previous published literature it was envisaged to apply examination pregnant women. Pregnancy-associated loss has been as decreased [4]. Objectives: aim current study compare values both femora between and non-pregnant women matched age BMI using technology. Methods: Of total fifty twenty (40%) thirty (60%) were included study. mean 32 years ± 5 standard deviations (SD), (range 25-41 years) 30 6 24-39 years). used assess Z-score neck. Furthermore, body mass index (BMI) gestational weeks evaluated. Results: 26 kg/m 2 7 14 -42 ) those 25 16 -35 ). 20 weeks’ gestation 13-27 gestation). left 0.793 g/cm 0.167 0.563 -1.154 right 0.828 0.153 0.570 -1.161 After comparing women, we found linear correlation (R=0.764). Left value (0.793 significantly lower than (0.854 ), p=0.002. (-0.1 SD range -2.5 SD-2.9 SD) also compared (1.2 -1.5 SD-3.1 SD), p=0.003. Conclusion: This first which provides data about assessed radiation-free Pregnant Z-scores Innovative method could be very helpful making decision treatment who are at risk due concomitant diseases and/or associated osteoporosis. assessment of the park- ang damage index for performance levels of rc moment resisting frames
